Security Specifications

Updated 20 March 2023

Each user using Sodaclick expects their data to be secure and highly confidential. We understand the importance of keeping our users’ data private and work to do our very best to make sure this is the case at all times.

For more information about our policies, please make sure to review our Terms of Service as well as our Privacy Policy.

System & Hosting Security

Sodaclick uses the Amazon Web Services (AWS) EC2 and AWS S3 Storage infrastructure as hosting facility and thus inherits its state of the art security level.

It features a dedicated firewall, key-based SSH login, and extensive monitoring features. Only two Sodaclick engineers have direct access to the hosting machines and their logins are secured using two factor authentication.

Communication

All user data is transported securely, as all traffic is encrypted in transit via SSL. Encrypting the data protects it from unauthorised modification and man-in-the-middle attacks. We use 256-bit SSL/TLS.1.2 encryption, utilising RSA algorithms. Its Qualys SSL Rating is “A”.

Credit & Debit Cards

Sodaclick does not store any credit or debit card information. We have partnered with Stripe for credit & debit card processing. They power online transactions for thousands of businesses and SaaS platforms and comply with PCI standards in the storage and handling of credit & debit card information.

Data Centre Security

Our hosting environment is fully-redundant with disaster recovery procedures. Our cloud hosting providers maintain multiple certifications for its data centres, including ISO 27001 compliance, PCI certification, and SOC. For more information about their certification and compliance, please visit the Amazon AWS security website.
